Tuesday, August 9th:
We now enter the second half of the tournament and the competition continues to get more and more intense. Many have inquired why there is only one game of Connecticut photos. The answer is that I simply cannot do night games. I take well over 1000 photographs during the course of a day and the editing process takes me into the wee hours of the morning already. I do promise this though... I WILL photograph them at least one more time. Preferbly, during the day, as we enter the semi-bracket games, of which CT is looking mighty fine!

Another question I have been receiving through email is why some teams have more photos in a given game compared to their opponent. A lot has to do with trying to balance out the amount of photos taken evenly. Today, I photographed New Hampshire for the first time, so their gallery has over 300 shots. Their opponent on Tuesday was Maine and I have photographed them now for the third time, so I concentrated on the New Hampshire team.

A word about New Hampshire... When not behind the lens, I am a schoolteacher and HS baseball coach. In my 25 years of coaching, I have never seen a regional team conduct themselves with more respect, class, and character than this New Hampshire team. I could tell from day one that they love baseball, play hard for their coaches and themselves, and have formed close friendships with one another. It was a true pleasure photographing you guys and there are a LOT of photographs to browse through. But, I promise you won't be dissapointed. There are some real gems in there. The end of the game celebration shots (called jube shots) put a lump in my throat and it is my finest end of the game captures to date.

Thanks to all for your positive comments regarding the photos this week! It has been a lot of fun. If you ordered a team photo, many apologies on the delay. The delay is through my large volume print service. After speaking with them today, they assured me that they are en route to the Giamatti Center. If you are planning on leaving town in the next day or so, the photo will be mailed home.

Samples will not be shown online from here on out. Rather, I am going to give you the direct link to the index page at Photoreflect and you can click on the game and team you want to view.

Thursday, August 12th:
Everything is now up to date. I want to apologize once again for not photographing Connecticut more frequently. I did get a chance to photograph them on Thursday night and will be doing the same for Friday. If I missed anyone on Thursday, I'll do my best to get everyone covered by the end of the tournament. Thanks for your patience.

Also, after much consideration, I have decided to extend the 15% Event Discount till the end of August. This will give everyone a chance to get home and get settled in before the kids start school.
