Ordering Information: As you browse the galleries at Photoreflect, bear in mind that many of the pictures have not been edited for color or cropped. Also, for the purposes of the web, the pictures you see on Photoreflect have been downsized and watermarked. Choose your photos based on the action and aesthetics of the photo. To really get an idea of photo quality, you can click on some of the samples on this site or by clicking the portfolio link up top. Please be advised that these photos are copyrighted material and should not be printed or distributed without consent. Quite often, photos will be cropped to emphasize the player in the photo and your final print will not look exactly the same as it does in the gallery. Actually... it will look better! Sometimes a photo will be cropped horizontally or vertically even though it appears as the opposite in the gallery. The photographer will use his professional judgment in cropping to bring out the best in the photo. If you would like a photo cropped a specific way, please indicate your preference in the comments section of the ordering form. Also, photos can be printed in black and white and sepia tone at no extra charge. Packages and Pricing: Different packages and pricing varies depending on sport, location and event. Here is general summary of multi-print packages and personalized posters: Pick Any (4) Plan- When ordering more than three different 5 x 7 prints, a Pick Any (4) Plan allows you to choose any four pictures from the gallery at a discounted price. With this plan, you are charged the discounted price with the FIRST photo selected. Each subsequent photo selected within the plan will appear on your order as $0.00. You MUST select the FIRST photo within the plan, or the order will not be fulfilled. Choices must be made within the same game gallery. You cannot choose photos from different games. This plan is currently available for photos taken after October 1st, 2005. The Pick Any (4) Plan is NOT an available option for photos taken before this time. Pick Any (6) Plan- Same as the Pick Any (4) Plan, but with any six 5 x 7 photos. Scrap Book Plan- 4 x 6 prints are not available as an individual print size, but are available for those who wish to purchase a large amount of photos from a variety of different games and events. Personalized Posters and Magazine Covers- Personalized Posters are available in 20 x 30 or 16 x 20 sizes and can include the athlete's name, jersey number, team, and position. Depending on the photo, more or less information may be included in the personalized poster. When ordering a personalized poster, it is important to include all the necessary information in the comments section of the online order form. The photographer cannot complete your order without it. All posters and magazine covers are printed on Fuji Professional Digital Crystal Archive Photo Paper (lustre). Printing on gloss paper is not recommended for posters or magazine covers mainly due to the fact that it becomes highly reflective when placed behind a glass frame. Gloss also tends to attract a little more dust when not protected and is more suseptible to finger prints. Click HERE to see a sample of a personalized poster. When ordering a magazine cover, a choice of up to three personalized headlines is included at no additional charge. Each headline must be limited to 10 or less words and should be listed in the comments section of the online order form along with the athlete's name. Click HERE to see a sample of a magazine cover. Sequence Photos- Prints showing a sequence of 3 or more photos are available within any gallery. The method for ordering a sequence is similar to the "Pick Any" plans. You are charged with the first photo selected and the remaining shots selected for the sequence will show as no charge. Sizes of each individual photo in the sequence will vary depending on the number of photos selected. Athlete's name and jersey number can be printed at no additional charge. Printing and Shipping: All photos are printed at a professional lab on a choice of two quality papers: Fuji Professional Digital Crystal Archive Photo Paper (gloss) or Fuji Professional Digital Crystal Archive Photo Paper (lustre). You cannot mix and match photo paper within the same order. When ordering, please indicate which paper you would like in the comments section of the online order form. If no paper choice is indicated, photos will be printed on the Fuji lustre paper. Kodak Endura Metallic Paper and other paper options are available at an additional charge. Please call for more information. Framing and matte options are also available for your photos at an additional charge. Once again, please call for more information. Shipping rates depend on the size of the order and will be indicated on the online order form. For athletes that attend NMS, there is an option for "Pickup" at no additional shipping charge. When choosing this option, photos will be hand delivered to the student at school, however, Play Ball Photos will not be held responsible for any damage to the photos that might incur between the time it is hand delivered to the student and the time it arrives at your home. The "Pickup" option is ONLY available for students at NMS. Do not choose this option if your child does not attend this school. Please be advised that the time between the date your order is placed and the date it is shipped varies throughout the year. Summer time and end of the year holidays are usually extremely busy times for Play Ball Photos and delivery time can take between 4-6 weeks. Throughout the fall, winter, and spring, delivery will usually range beween 1-2 weeks. Camera Equipment and Lenses Used: Photos are digitally shot with a Canon 1D Mark II, capable of shooting digital pictures at 8 frames per second. The lenses used include the Canon 200mm USM, f/1.8L, the Canon 400mm USM, f/2.8L IS and the Canon 70-200 USM f/2.8L IS, among others. These are some of the finest lenses that Canon makes and are specifically designed for sports action photography. Refunds and Cancellations: Once an order has been placed, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded once the processing has begun. Therefore, cancellations, if desired, must be made as soon as possible after placing the order. In many cases, the order can be processed in as little as six hours after receiving it. Once the order has been processed and/or received, no refunds will be given. However, we want you to be completely satisfied with your photos. If you not satisfied with your photos after receiving them, please call Play Ball Photos at 631-737-9427 and we will be happy to accommodate you. Orders can be corrected and reprinted to your liking.
